VIDEO: RFID Track & Trace solution at Pure Beauty Farms
At Visser we like the challenge that comes with handling multiple pot sizes and different plant species. Pure Beauty Farms in Miami knows how easy it is to change packs and pot sizes.
For the track & trace solution they chose RFID tags to sort different species automatically. RFID technology has proven itself to sort and track products in an easy and fast way. “Our employees needed to know all the names of the different varieties of the plants” says Jeff Yanes, operations manager at Pure beauty Farms Inc, “now we have automated the shipping system to a degree where we do not need skilled labor anymore.”
Pure beauty moves product to more than 250 customers and now prepares their orders fully automatic. Visser provides the shipping system with management software to prepare batches for specific customers fully automatic.
