State-of-the-art hatchery in Brazil

We are proud to celebrate another important milestone for Brazilian poultry production: the completion of the new, state-of-the-art hatchery of Granja Pinheiros Ltda in Nova Petrópolis, Rio Grande do Sul. The project is the result of dedication, technical excellence and a strong partnership between our companies.

We congratulate the Kehl family and everyone involved in building, installing and starting up the hatchery. Their professionalism and commitment made a difference at every stage of the project.

Advanced hatchery automation

The hatchery uses a wide range of Viscon technologies and solutions. They are designed to streamline production and raise the standard for efficiency, quality and biosecurity. Key systems include:

• Automatic unloading of setter trolleys
• Live embryo detection
• Selective in-ovo vaccination, so only viable eggs are vaccinated
• Selective transfer
• Automatic stacking of full hatcher baskets
• Vacuum waste processing in a dedicated room

The project also includes chick processing and counting equipment built to the highest standards. This supports operational performance, reliability and animal welfare.
