At Viscon Group we are continuously delving deeper into the world of plant, therefore we are looking for a student who would like to help us towards building a digital plant! We are exploring the space of digital plants to understand plant characteristics allowing for better decisions when growing or cultivating different crops. To keep up with today’s digital world, it is valuable for us to be able to predict plant growth over time.

For this assignment, you will collect environmental data and plant data, so that you can eventually build a digital plant with which you could predict plant development. When building a digital plant model, you take into account the different environmental factors such as temperature, lighting level, humidity, etc. An assignment with more than enough challenges! Are you up for this challenge?

Who are we looking for?

• You follow a university degree in Computer Science or Plant Science.
• You have knowledge of Python programming.
• You are interested in plant biology.
• You have some experience with digital models / digital plants is a nice bonus.
